The Hockaday Museum of Art will present its New Artists 2013 show starting April 4. The annual show is a venue for young artists attending local area high schools.
Each school is allowed a set number of pieces depending on student population. The exhibited pieces are juried by art teachers at each school.
An opening reception for the show will be held Thursday, April 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. with free admission to the public. A Curator’s Choice Award will be announced and voting for the People’s Choice Award will take place during the event. Students from the Flathead High School Culinary Arts Program will be provide hors d’oeuvres and desserts.
